Will China force the Anglosphere to coalesce?

Anglosphere just used as an approximation. Nato in its current form may be on the way out. So, USA, Canada, UK, Oz, NZ, Israel and maybe India and Japan to form closer military ties. And maybe closer trade ties. Thoughts?

A quite common sentiment at the moment in lots of places seems to be to try to accentuate differences rather than make closer ties.

Well there's CANZUK as a concept.

I guess when someone gets too powerful and tries too hard to bend things their way then what are others to do to counter or mitigate that?

Canzuk sounds nice but the problem is, if they introduce freedom of movement between the four countries pretty much everyone in the UK will just move to Australia.

They are 4 wonderful countries in every way.

Freedom of movement - I’d say there wouldn’t ever be a problem as much as people to dream about grand moves nearly all never really happen.
That said I’d love to try Canada for a while
