Hi all, has anybody converted the hand brake from in disc shoes to calipers?

not saying it’s impossible , but considering how rare callipers are (standard or AP ) for these i think it would be an expensive thing to do , any reason why you want to change it ? they are a bit of an on off device but they do work , come mot time i explain to them how it works , i think i saw a mot failure sheet on here the issue being excessive hand brake bite , that’s a garage that does not know it’s stuff

never seen anyone do it. wilwood do spot calipers , then youll need custom brackets, custom cables . to gain what ??

Unless you're using an OEM caliper....most aftermarket handbrake calipers are ste.

Hell, even a lot of OEM calipers ain't that great. Shoes usually grab better.
