Anyone know where, if there is one, is the plug to connect external diagnostic laptop to a late 1990 400SE fitted with 14CUX ECU?
Local Morgan dealer has all the correct diagnostic equipment and is happy to check my car but we cannot find the connection port!!

Diagnostics and laptops sound a bit high tech for TVR. Try an AVO meter, and you may get 'technology coordination', as our colonial cousins might say.

I know where your coming from Don - but interestingly Griffs & Chims apparently do have a connector in the loom for attaching fault diagnostic equipment as do Morgan Plus 8`s all running same 14CUX ECU - but it does appear as if the 400SE is "back to basics" in terms of diagnostics!

If you find one or can identify where it's possible to hard wire a connector to, let me and the others know, as I'm sure we'd all be interested. In the meantime, I use the guide in the Epistles if I need to track anything down.

Seem to remember my 350 had one but the loom went nowher?

Not one on my 400, well, in an easy place to find at least. It may be disguised as something. The is a plug that has been added to my loom but I suspect it has another purpose.
