Automated Video Interviews (Workable)

I've been sent a link by a potential new employer (Bank) to record an automated first stage video interview.

I have to say I really don't like the idea BUT I've been trying to get the link to work.

The company use an outside tech company called "Workable" to facilitate the tech on these interviews and I've been experiencing problems.

Managed to establish there was a software conflict that was stopping my camera from working with their software which means when I run a test interview it now works.

However, when I try and record the interview it looks as if the video is recording but when the recording stops it says the video recording has failed.

I've contacted the service provider (CC'ing the employer) and they are asking me quite technical questions beyond my level of IT knowledge

Fortunately the potential employer has recognised the difficulties and is going to try and put an alternative in place.

I wondered if anyone else has encountered similar difficulties and whether there is a known issue and solution?
