Something is badly wrong when this has to happen: calling for volunteers to take on a job that would, I'm guessing here, usually have a salary of £45k+? ( based on this near equivalent https://www.jobs.nhs.uk/xi/vacancy/916174016 )

Suggesting someone who is furloughed should apply - don’t they know the scheme closes at the end of the month? It’s ridiculous - if this ‘senior’ role is required it should be paid at the appropriate rate. What are they thinking.

Another mid level manager role, managing a team of people doing generic software based work? The cynic in me would wonder if there is a political slant to this...

Yep, these ads started in March, had a few pimps call me about some roles, gave it the big sell and "can we put your cv forward" before saying it was unpaid.
