rattly cats

having replaced the exhaust back box with a pair of sports exhausts some time ago, the cats now seem to be rattling, rt racing can supply cat replacement and connectors ,but will the engine management system need resetting?
i know its a daft question, but to some-one with only half a mechanical brain!!!!!

Shouldn't think so.

The ECU will not know if the Cats are fitted or not, so can not see why it would need resetting

Nothing needs doing to ECU. Just whip them cats out end enjoy the symphony!!!
I have decat and sports pipes and its very, very LOUD!!!!
