Can someone please tell me how much power gain a de-cat on a 135 engine will give me and if I will need to remap the car after decatting.

Is de-catting easy to do, is it easy to reverse come MoT time?

Will it make the car much louder/affect MPG etc?

Please tell me all!!

makes more noise - so much that you will struggle to get on some track days..and maybe 2bhp...and an hour or so every year to remove/re-fit ...wouldnt bother myself unless you really want the noise.........

so not worth it then!

I'm not too bothered about noise, just thought it'd help breathing but if 2brake is about the worth of it, then i'll not bother.

Id stick with a sports exhaust, and induction kit - should see you to 140-45bhp ish...next step would be some mild cams - 150-55bhp ish...then thats your lot until you get serious with ECUs, throttle bodies, omre headwork, more cams etc.

have a look on www.dvapower.co.uk to see you options........

it's got an induction kit and a sports exhaust (not sure what kind but its not standard....) so think that'll do for just now - head work etc is too serious I think .
