I've got so many speakers, but they are all portable ones, so require charge then either BT or 3.5mm. Bluetooth turns off after a while, and 3.5mm, well, it's 2020...

Anyone know of a single speaker that'll be powered by and USB for connectivity? Small and discreet is the preference. I have Echo's all over the place for background music, this speaker is just for a YT video or something from the laptop. It needs to be able to stay on too, not go off every 20 mins of not being used like my portable ones do.

How big/powerful do you want them? What style do you want/need?

I've got a set of USB-powered Creative Pebbles 3.0 (£30 in Amazon's Prime Day sales).

Otherwise, one of the many PC soundbars (maybe the Creative MF8355 @ £40 - is still a portable unit, but won't turn off to save power if connected to USB) may fit the bill if you're after a more discrete offering.

Ideally the size of 1 of them. I will rarely use it, but when I do, I want to press play, without having to wake the device up, wait for it to connect etc.

I have the Honkyob mini usb From amazon. Just plug in the USB, it’s powered by USB works and is small enough.

I have one of these Jabra things which was supplied by my employer about 3 years ago. Works really well and would recommend but not sure how the cost compares to other options out there.
