Equivalent laptop options

I have a current HP 15.6" laptop dv6-6c77sa A7N52EA laptop which is starting to fall apart.
It's done many years of great service, I've updated it so it now has a 500GB SSD and the original 750GB HDD.
Processor is
2.50 gigahertz Intel Core i5-2450M
AMD Radeon HD 7400M Series Display adapter
6GB memory
Running windows 10 64bit Home
What sort of current processor spec would i need to give me a similar laptop performance or better?
I'd like to stick with Intel as all my software works with that, I don't want any silly issues with drivers on some old software I use to communicate via ethernet.
Any recommendations on what to look at right now for a good deal that would work as well?
It must have at least 500Gb SSD and have an ethernet port and USB2/3 for adaptors I use with some old hardware.
