Where do you get the wide white racing stripes as adorned by several Tivs at Le Mans? I mean the ones that go along the bonnet, roof, boot and look superb!
Cheers!
Any issues with paint damage after removal?

I got mine in Halfords in Dublin so I assume any Halfords would do them. Removal is easy, especially if you do it in the sun as hot stickers are easier to remove. Ours even started peeling off on the way down to Le Mans. Otherwise a hairdryer is just as good but longer. If any residue is left, we had about 6 inches on the roof, soapy water does the trick with a rub.

I fitted them to my Elise..... I just got them from a local sign writers. No issues on removal and took an hour to fit to the Elise:

Just as Up-the-Dubs says, got mine from the local 'Lax Power' type shop, easier to apply and remove when they are warm.

Check my profile photo for the stripes on my Chimaera, or if you look on Pikeynet.com, there is a picture with all the numbers etc on.

No paint damage from the stripes, but some paint has come off the front wing where i had some 'Sparco' stickers. Looks like an old re-paint that was not prepared properly, now have two patches of primer to show for the Le Mans stickering up.....

The car looks quite ordinary now without the viper stripes.

I think they will look awesome on my Avus blue Chim. Our convoy down to Le Mans had a silver Cerb and Chim with blue stripes and looked the dog's danglies. Thanks for all the pics and tips guys, now it's just a shame I have to wait a whole year to have an excuse to put them on the car!

So do I take them off tomorrow or leave them on? I can tell you, the stripes combined with a lack of exhaust silencing are making me a bit self conscious...

I agree. They certinatly don't suit mine. But hey, what the hell, all in the name of fun for a weekend. Looking forward to going nuts with the stickers next year.

I paid 9 Squids from Ebay, stickers where actually 6 squid.
Delivered in one day good quality and I got loads of extra (for mistakes). Went on and more importantly came off well.

email this guy sean@stripesandgraphics.co.uk

Tuscan owner self conscious - pull the other one !

They do look good though - not sure that they would go on mine.
