Cluch Fluid reservoir?
Discussion
I consulted the TVR owners manual for the 4.2 cerb and there is an arrow pointing to the Fiberglas cover nearest the bulkhead which denotes the location of the clutch fluid reservoir, i.e.. under this cover, after removing the cover all I can find is the brake fluid res. on one side and the battery on the other, hmmmmm.
Am I stupid or is there something TVR are keeping secret from me?

Thanks chaps, I did see a black panel on the inner wing as you describe, fact that it was bonded with mastic I ignored it. Sounds like the mastic gun needs to be part of my "specialised" TVR tool kit form now on!
By the way, RusselM, looked at your profile, car looks good without front number plate, have you been driving about long without it, or was it just when the photo was taken?

Hi Spartacus, managed 8 months with no front plate & a black plate on the back (looks a lot better as it seems to blend in with those tinted rear lights).
Got stopped for a second time on sunday, so it's going legal today.
If I was going to do it again, which I'm not... I would remove the front plate & leave the rear one legal, It would be a rather keen police officer that that does a U turn to get you for the missing front plate
The rear one is easy pickings
Good luck

What can they do if you dont have a front plate??
Do they say.. " OI OI Governor, wheres your plate then?? Take a seat in the back of the motor while i give you a fine...."
Or is it more.... "Who's a naughty boy then...... blah..... dont do it again!"??
Cos if it is the latter, then i might consider it... the plate ruins the car at the front!

Absolutely agree, took the front plate off to get at some wiring the other day, transforms the look of the car, that big gaping mouth of a grill opening looks really mean without it!
