Unable to log in to youtube

Does anyone know why I am unable to log in to my youtube account using a Windows laptop?. I am able to log in using an Android tablet, but not using a PC. I have had a few youtube accounts over the years and until fairly recently I have been able to log in on any PC, whether a desk top PC, laptop etc using any browser and any version of Windows. Is this something to do with the google store?.

Well what error are you getting?
Entering the same email and password shouldnt be a problem. Just check its not auto entering some old details, especailly as youve had lots of accounts. Log in manually.

After I enter my email and password I get a "Get a verification Code" message that will send to my email address (an old email address that I don't use much which was used at the time when I created the youtube account). It dosen't ask this when I log in using a tablet except a PC or laptop. Might be because I'm using an encrypted network, but I'm sure it still displays this regardless.

Nothing strange about that. So did you follow the instructions and enter the verification code?
Its the way a lot of 2 step verification is going for more security against bots and ID fraud.

Why dosen't this message appear when I try to log in using an Android tablet, phone etc?. Seems to be just on my Windows laptops that it does this with.

When I try and log into my email address (which I don't use often as I use a better email provider), enter my email address and password, but it then displays a

"Recover your account" message and "What Microsoft account are you trying to get back into? Email, phone, or Skype name" message, and then says:

"Where should we contact you?
Enter an email address that's different from the one you're trying to recover.
Contact email address".

I have recently logged into my old hotmail account successfully, so why is it displaying this message that I have to recover the account?. I think the hotmail account could only be accessed through my tablet not my laptop. If it's because I entered the wrong password then it would just say I entered the wrong password, but it's coming up with this message.

I am able to log in to my hotmail account using an Android tablet (which shows the password is correct), but for some reason it won't allow me to log in using my Windows laptop. Anyone know why?. Is there something blocking access to it?. And as I've previously mentioned, I am able to log into my youtube account via a tablet but not on my laptop.
