to lotus luvers...

i've got a standard but stunning S1 Elise but i have the most squeeky clutch pedal in the world...

Has anyone else suffered the same fate as me and if so how was it resolved as i don't want to go dabbing lubricating oil over the pedal as its not the most sensible place to put a slippy liquid!

any pointers greatly apprecited...

thanks

TADTS!

Best solved with a squirt of WD40 (although some say not) You may have to do it every few months. Get under the dash and use the tube on the nozzle and just give it a quick accurate blat...you can always wipe the excess off.

Actaully PPS I think you'll find on closer examination that I waited until the point you were making more of a squeeking noise complaining about the clutch pedal than the clutch pedal itself squeeking, and the i upturned myself and used the WD40 solution to the problem!

your actually better off using silicone spray than wd40. i had to endure 1000 mile le mans roundtrip with this problem.

bit of spray and problem solved
