Afternoon folks, I don't suppose anyone has much experience of Stag systems and automatic switching back to pricey petrol above a given rev limit do they? I'd thought it was essentially temperature based and they kept supplying LPG to the redline if the condenser can keep up. Just before I ask on a specialist LPG forum confused

Used to have an LPG car - a few years ago now. It worked on LPG all the way to the redline, until it ran out of stuff in the tank. When the tank was low then if I really thrashed the car it switched over I assume because the pressure got low, ie the remaining liquid in the tank couldn't keep the pressure up - but that was the only reason.

Apparently this can be adjusted by software but it's all futile anyway as the car with it fitted was registered after the cutoff date in 2006 so it's FIFTY times more expensive to tax than my better half 2008 Prius, it can stay with its current keeper!
