i see they are due to make large redundancies. I do like a pizza express. I think it is time they did a meal deal to get people in to eat or collect.

Its more the goverment stopping them trading than the price thats causing the job loses.

Actually Pizza Express was in deep financial trouble way before the Pando hit. Massively over extended itself. Shame, I like a PE too

I have noticed it go downhill in terms of quality last few times I've been, I know covid has been a kick in the nuts for restaurants but they were in trouble before, and pizzas must be the easiest thing to make money on surely?

It's bound to happen, crap pizzas and crap service, it was only going because of the nostalgia factor and the boomer customers.

They have been struggling with financial difficulties for years.

Like so many businesses, Covid will be the (large) straw that broke the camels back.

I like a Pizza Express though to be honest. They do good Jazz nights.
