Put the car on the drive.
Stick in a phone charger or any device that has a power light.
Either fold rear seats or remove rear shelf so that you can see the light and then lock the car and walk away.
Come back 30 mins later and see if the phone charger light is still on.
31 minutes surely ;)Stick in a phone charger or any device that has a power light.

All sockets in the car will shut down using battery management after 30-45 minutes, or depending on charge state of the battery itself.
The sockets will remain ON if a minimum charge voltage is present - to allow trickle charging the vehicle using the socket. Moot point - if you had access to a trickle charger at that point you wouldn't need to charge the drone using the car......
The charger must be connected while the socket is still live to ensure the battery manager registers the voltage and keeps the circuit going IE: if you have a flat battery and have a li-ion charge pack that connects to the socket to charge the car for example it won't work at that point.
