My wife has one. Just turned two years old and never had any problems apart from needing a new front camera/sensor unit (warranty).

Compared to my diesel it feels light and free reving.

Still got a year on the lease and struggling to think of anything better to replace it with for £200 a month.

We bought a 17 plate one a month ago for my partner, replacing a 2015 Clio dCi. Our Civic is the 1.0 SR with the CVT (auto only licence) and it's a lovely car. I have a 2.0 TDI A4 so to me the Civic feels a touch sluggish but compared to the Clio it's about the same - don't get me wrong though it is more than enough for most people I'm just used to quicker cars. The CVT box isn't bad too - much better than the Auris hybrid we test drove. It doesn't like to be rushed though and suits my partner's relaxed driving style down to a tee.

Average economy is about 45mpg on a mixture of town, motorway and the back roads round the villages.

As for the car itself, in blue it stands out well and the interior quality/practicality is brilliant. I'm not a fan of the Garmin infotainment but we use CarPlay so that sorts that. The boot and rear space is vast for a mid size hatch and it handles/rides better than my A4 in my opinion. We are really happy with it.
