Just thought gentlemen of a certain age might appreciate these three- heading out for a run together a couple of weeks ago...

Candy Glory Red on a CBX-Z is just so "of the era". The CB1100RD was the first bike out of Japan with pearlescent metallic paint as I recall.

They looked so vibrant after the 1100RB and RC

No idea on the big Jota though. They were just hard work to ride compared to a CB1100.

Id have the 1100R. They were one of the bikes that gave me a trouser tent in the 80's.

All from an era before I got into bikes but look lovely nonetheless. Think I need to get myself a classic.

Funny when I first got into bikes it was sportsbikes I couldn't see past but years later its stuff like this that turns my head in the street. I'm sure theres a company in Japan that takes these kind of bikes and modernises them with carbon wheels etc etc. Think they sell for a sum though haha.

I would take the Laverda, though that particular one looks like an instrument of torture.

That Laverda is a Cropredy Liberator conversion (minus the full fairing) - the normal Jota seat/bars are actually very comfortable for the taller gentleman, although the Liberator set-up is slightly more compromised but still not too cramped...

Yep.

Thought I recognised the paint scheme.

There was one on eBay a few weeks ago, for the thick end of £30k....

Stunning!

Almost bought a CB1100R as my first big bike , but it was suggested that they had all been raced at that time, so ended up with a Z1100A shaft - That was fun smile

When I worked in a Harley dealership many many moons ago, we had a couple for sale which our boss had "found" in the USA still in crates, buried at the back of some huge dealership...I was there for 6 months and they didn't sell. Looked lovely on display, though.

Spot on - it's owner had been working on the bike and it wasn't quite ready come ride time, so instead of cancelling, he went Commando beer

Those three bikes and throw in a Ducati 900ss and I’d be in Motorcycle Heaven.
