Chat won't back up, anyone help?

Screenshot below. I have plenty of icloud space, and a good internet connection, yet backup hasn't happened for weeks. I want to upgrade my phone but don't want to lose the last couple of months of chats. Any ideas:

you sure you have 13.8gb of icloud space?

Hmmmm ok good point actually, I have 50gb space and 33.5gb used, so I guess I don't.

Stupid I've not spotted that before, always I assumed I'd never fill up the 50gb LOL.

Thanks.
