Prince William had Covid-19 back in April, but kept it secret because he didn't want to alarm the nation! He is 38 years of age, in good health we assume, with a doctor and medical advisor immediately to hand! I wouldn't have been alarmed at all......!

I don't believe it was due to people being alarmed. I think it was mainly hidden so that it didn't take over as the headline news story in every newspaper and breaking news story on the airwaves, thus blindsiding all the real issues going on in April. He also secretly took phone calls for a charity to help people who were vulnerable and suffering with their mental health. I think he deserves credit for all of that, rather than his sibling who was calling everyone out as racist.

Was significantly unwell with it apparently.

Of the 2 brothers, he's the one that I would trust to behave with selfless honour and dignity.

Seems like a genuine well balanced individual.

Shame for him that he's going to have to be King for most of his life.

Still you can't have it all.

BTW, I like Kaff too.

Needs more pies though.

I doubt it. Given his parents longevity, I think Charles can reasonably be expected to live until he's 90, maybe beyond that. William will then be about 58 or more, and he won't live to 116.

If Brian's got any sense at all(poor evidence of this tbh) he'll have quick go of the crown and the big chair for a year or two then either abdicate or retire and let baldy mcslaphead be a regent and do all the legwork.

Just imagine how much we would have heard about it if Meghan had got Covid.

Might have been an easier way to bump her off than a car crash in a tunnel laugh

Fair play to him. He probably had it a similar time to Boris. If that had been announced at the same time as Charles and BJ, then I'm sure all the Chicken Lickens would have been running about waiting for the sky to fall in.

It would have probably been caused by racism in some way

Where did you read that?

I’m not aware that when you get flu you are struggling to breathe but then again you are peddling a narrative over many threads

Covid-19 has a higher IFR overall than seasonal Flu. Below a certain age though seasonal Flu is more dangerous.

Prince William is a young man with no underlying health conditions that we are aware of. He was unlucky therefore if he experienced symptoms any worse than that of a bad cold.

I’m the same age as William and it did knock me about too. I’d put it at similar to swine flu which I had during that epidemic.

Peddling a narrative, that narrative that the average age is 82 of those that diue. If you are old or existing major issues then yes you will have a higher chance of dying but for the 98% off other Britons, you will be fine. Just like flu.

Yeah, in the same way that heatstroke is just like flu as well.

Headache? Tick
High temperature? Tick
Possible respiratory and circulatory complications? Tick

I guess that doesn't suit your persistent narrative either, though.

So what illness would you liken the Prince went through then, because he didn't die, seemed to recover after a bit of convalescence
. What narrative will you advise?

As posted, surely this can't really have been kept quiet to avoid alarm; there wouldn't have been any.

Perhaps certain people deluded themselves into believing there would have been.

FFS.

or there was an outbreak around the time, people might question his movements?

Possibly; even though he's going to be king one day, assuming he's spared long enough, he's not really media fodder compared to his brother, so that line would have been more difficult to pursue with our wonderful media tied up following every move from Boris, Dom and sundry gov't ministers to see who was naughty and aim to get them in trouble. Those pesky journos. They should have kept a closer eye on William and caused nationwide panic. Or, no panic and no story.
