Looking to move to sky q and have repositioned my tv on the other side of the room. Can anyone recommend any good flat coax cables that are suitable for sky q which I can run under the carpet. Cheers!
As Sky Q is Blutooth receiver, you could just run a single HDMI rather than the shotgun coax for the signal and leave the box where it is?Fatguyhat said:
No not an option I’m afraid. I’m hoping I can run the cables as is under the carpet but was hoping there might be some plat cables that would be suitable. A couple I have found have said not suitable for sky q
Can you run it round the edge or will it actually be walked on?TimmyMallett said:

This makes best sense, there is no need for your Sky Q box to be located with the rest of your viewing equipment. Just locate it somewhere convenient ( I have mine next to my wi-fi router in an under stair cupboard) and then use a quality HDMI cable to link the Q box and the tv. The Bluetooth remote makes it all possible. Trying to find a flat 75 ohm cable (pair) will always be a compromise because it will inherently have high loss due to the small cross dimensional size of the centre conductor. Rethink and go with an HDMI solution Gassing Station | Home Cinema & Hi-Fi | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
