Wireless earbuds... Where is the sweet spot?

My trusty Plantronics v6200 earphones are brilliant but they are showing their age and starting to come apart with use.

I can't complain, a solid 3 years of daily use is more than I've had out of anything and the sound is fine.

I'm exploring replacements to use but my god the market is saturated.

Any tips? I looked at the blow and look decent but what's in use by the PH loyal? I don't need them for phone calls so not bothered about that. I need volume, clarity, comfort and decent battery life.
