Hi, has anyone else on here ordered one of these? They're only making 100 of them.

Mine should arrive soon.

Nope, but just wanted to congratulate you on your splendid PH name.

Well played Sir.

Well done on your order smile

I think this Type 1 is the most cohesive and technically interesting MHD watch so far. I have tried on most (probably all) of their previous watch models and chatted with Matthew several times when at Prescott. I think you'll be pleased with your purchase.

I'd love one, but am trying to be good at the moment!

Ellroy:

Thanks. It's all credit to Barryboys. When someone went on the rant on there, defending their badly kitted up stuff, the swear filter automatically changed 'Lady part swear word' to that. It always made me chuckle.

Stunters:

Thanks also. I was reading a recent editon of CAR magazine, and happened across the watch page in there (very dangerous!), and I knew I had to have one. Matthew emailed me just after the pre-order, to find out how I had heard about it. He said that the story behind each purchase was of special interest to him.

A nice guy, and that was a nice touch!

I have one of every MHD watch so far and like the fact that its a very personal purchase, often chat to Matthew and like the design process of the watches

Yes, the personal touch is certainly very refreshing. It makes all the difference.

Just had the email to say that these are being dispatched, has anyone received theirs yet? Would love to hear about/ see one in "real" life rather than advertising pictures.

I'm trying to justify one to myself, I think the thing that is mostly putting me off is the holed strap.

Mine arrived today (I'm the OP btw, but changed my username). Very pleased with it, even though I'm not sure how much use it will get at the moment.

I may just keep it fully protected in its box for now, seeing as it's a limited run.[url]

Looks good thanks for sharing! I'm hoping they still have some in January (along with the marloe coniston) as I'm not allowed to buy anything this side of christmas apparently...

Bought mine from Matthew at Shelsley Walsh a couple of years ago. Great designs, really like the Type 1 & 2, but can’t justify another watch at the moment.

Been wearing mine for the last week.

It really is a stunning watch - the MHD designs are unlike anything else I have seen.

I’ve switched mine over to the black strap which at first I didn’t expect to use but now think I actually prefer.

The fact the slots in the screwheads s on the bezel don't all line up would drive me insane.

Hublot has the same issue, at least this is vastly less expensive

If you’re referring to the photo of mine, I took that in poor light, and it is a crap photo tbh. I hadn’t noticed anything amiss with the slots, so I’ll have a closer look at it over the weekend, not that these sort of things bother me really, but I’m curious to see if it is the photo or not.
