Hello all, I am looking at a DAS provider for my full test. My number 1 choice closed their business recently. I'm looking at various providers in the derby region.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Over the border, but I passed with Roadcraft Nottingham.

But I don’t think they’re doing lessons at the moment because of the covid frown

Compass at clay cross (next to cmc) is run by a really nice chap and people I know who've trained there spoke highly of it, well priced too.

Swains centre at buxton is where I did mine, a bigger journey but you get to spend 90% of the lessons on great roads. I'm 10 mins from belper and if I was doing it again I'd still choose to make the trek there

They do some great videos on youtube so I should expect their tuition to be spot on.

I used Derby Motorbike Training based near Chester Green. It was three years ago but I really recommend Jim and his approach to training.
Google search shows DMT as temporarily closed, hopefully not for good.

Thanks folks.
I know the area around clay cross. I have had both my 125cc from there.

I’ll look at compass and see what they offer. I love the HD883, it’s one of my choices for a big bike, so it’ll be nice to learn in one.

I did mine with Paul at https://2countiesridertraining.co.uk

I'd recommend - patient, didn't say anything when I dropped one of his bikes. I passed first time.
