I have been reading the 'OLED' discussion with interest as I am looking for a new telly. Unfortunately the smallest OLED tv's are 48inch which is too big.
However, I can get a Samsung QLED which is 43inch which would fit fine.
I realize that OLED is superior to QLED, but is QLED worth the extra over a regular tv?

Thanks. I see you went for a 55 inch TV? The link no longer works so I can't determine if you chose QLED in the end?
From your experience would you reccomend that I spent the extra on a QLED or just select a ' regular' 42/43 inch telly?

I went with this one KD55XF9005BU

It’s LED. OLED’s were so much more, and then I’d have been at the bottom end of the specs, so went high spec LED.

The tv is great, but I’ve not compared it to much else, I’m happy with it for the price. I couldn’t stomach £2k for a OLED one.

Newer TV's have no bezel so an old 43" may be the same overall size as a newer 48" if that makes sense. Not sure if you have considered that by any chance.
