The invisble posting curse strikes again!

I've been looking at this google earth stuff this morning. Found lots of news articles but can't seem to get my hands on the real thing - anyone know where it is?

The more of their stuff I see the more I think that they are truly the greatest software company ever.

I bet their servers were dying under the load of streaming all that data.

A shame that the Outer London data is not as good as the Digitalglobe stuff used by Multimap et al. But other than that, a great application.

"Google Earth downloads temporarily delayed

Thanks for your interest in Google Earth, but we're sorry we can't offer you a download right now. As you know, Google Earth is in beta, and we're still building out our ability to take on new users. We're making good progress, and expect to be able to accept new downloads shortly, so we recommend you check back daily at earth.google.com. We hope to be able to welcome you and other new planet surfers soon.

We appreciate your patience,

The Google Earth Team

Yes it seems you can still download the application but you cant connect to there servers (which means no program) unless you have a username, password and serial..

However,

If you go to this link (hurry)

http://registration.keyhole.com/setup_trial_kh_initial.html

You can download the Google Earth Pro version, just fill in the details - username, password, etc etc
they send you your serial & download link for the pro version

I tried to get the trial version of Pro, but they said my Email domain wasn't businesslike enough for them.

I had to make up a business and had myself in stitches thou.

Business: Derric's Hairstyling and Bait shop.

Position: Lead Hair cutter and Bait cutter.

How will you use "Pro": To locate worms, I downloaded "Google Earth" this morning and was hoping for better resolution as worms are small.

Maybe it's past my bedtime
