2010 gen 1 Cayman

I think this car is a Gen1 but I thought 2009 was the change over year, obviously there are exceptions could someone explain for me?

According to gov.uk it was registered in June 2010.

gen 1 - the front fog lights and centre console are the giveaways.

It's not a Black Edition either....they only made 500 of them I think so he's done well getting no. 773.

Is it even a Design edition as I thought they had all red rear lights.

In summary - fook knows what it is but it sure ain't a bargain...

It’s an expensive gen 1 but yes it’s a design edition.

Just either late registered or imported

Clue is in the plate........unless the owner is called Desmond and decided to add red rear lights and matt stripes on the bonnet, roof and back???

Thanks, wasn't saying it was a bargain or I was going to purchase it. Just trying to understand how late they made gen 1's. It's also listed at 330bhp which isn't correct.

They are red tinted, but have the silver reflectors underneath. Note the shape. Do you really think someone would go to the bother of creating a fake 'sport design' with all the correct interior bits and wheels...let alone finding a car registered that late to do so?
