I never understand these people that spend money on detailers getting their car cleaned. Its not a car wash nowadays its paint correction apparently, so they faff around with lots of products as if its face lotions. Then the car driver drivers home on some muddy roads in the rain kicking up stones and its back to square one. Seems yet another way to relieve you of cash.

I get that viewpoint.

I also clean my teeth twice a day even though I guess once would do and I drink too much coffee.

It's much more than a clean. It gets rid of swirls etc and if you were look at a car before and after, particularly dark colours, I guarantee you'd see the difference. I paid £600 for my Midnight Blue DB9 to be detailed and ceramic coated (which is very cheap) and it's some of the best money I've spent on it. The ceramic coating resists light scratches and it's easier to remove dirt when I wash it

Same for me with a midnight blue DBS. Transformed the car, gave more depth to the paintwork and so easy and quick to wash now!

Beautiful and money well spent if you ask me.

Bonus: I love the topic title, I read it in Clarkson's voice when he's doing the "what will happen in this episode" biggrin

I’m happy to do most things in life myself. I’d rather perform my own sex change operation than take a giant sander to my own car laugh

Looks great and I love that interior with the Morning Frost exterior.

I get taking the half film off the front but, personally, I would be replacing it with full front end film if you're going to drive the car.
