My first wedge (white 1986 350i) had the cow horn spoiler, and it caused some consternation when I tried to buy a replacement from the dealer (TVR Centre) in the mid 90's. They couldn't get one, so I had to repair the one I had (it had had a bit of a bash, but once you have them off the car, they are easy to repair.)
So why is a wedge worth naff all or half or the third of the price of a tin worm riddled MGB.
The chassis tubing is easy to replace rather than having a rottiserie, loads of sheet steel & welding rods.
The whole car is better, but forgotten or unknown by the public.
That was a big mistake by TVR.
Lotus had Emma Peal in a cat suit. Ohh Err.
TVR should have had Purdy, her hair style matched the car. That would have made it a classic.
Some one good at photoshop can get the promo shot on the web site.
Would be a shame to see this car used just for spares.
