Tell me about your stolen Audi.

Looking at Q5. Jury's out.
Trouble is, I know of three people who have had their (unremarkable) Audis stolen over the last two years.
I've read quite few stories of owners getting car-jacked on supermarket car parks too.
Out of interest, are they really that, a) do scrotes really find them irresistibly desirable and b) so easy to steal?

I wasn’t aware that the Q5 was a particular target for thieves.
I’m afraid can’t offer much insight other than I have driven a Q5 for the past few months, and I’ve yet to be carjacked while at Asda.
It was when I had an S3 I was often looking over my shoulder, as I had heard of 3-4 being taken from driveways in my region across a short time for use in other crime.

I got a lease Q5 sport in March, I went for the sport as it was fairly understated unlike the sline, I don't think it's particularly SHOUTY. Mine's grey too.
I've done slightly over 8000m since late March, it's a nice place to be but the gearbox is very slow, I've got used to that but it's not really great and lets the rest of the car down.
Seems to have been sore on the front tyres too. Most my driving is on A and B roads. It feels very wide on the back roads
