Looking for a sporty car for £300 a month
Discussion
hello,
so im looking around and try to find a car for 3K deposit and 300 and under a month. ideally id like a sporty care with good handling and straightline speed.
rwd would be nice but not the be all and end all. I30 N performances seem like a good choice but i just want to know whether there is anything else.
insurance is still a pain for me.
i would love an m140i however all of my deposit would have to go on insurance with it being 4k
the i30n is 1k
i would think the i30n is a decent car to get just the interior isnt the best place to be
im looking to buy around next march, so bare that in mind if anything is just out of reach or coming to the end of pcp buying.
i would like to know if there is anything i have missed and if so what would you guys recomend?

I got a new, dealer stock Mini JCW for a similar price. That was a brilliant car, I loved it. It’s the only one I’ve kept for nearly two years, and would have had it longer until somebody pulled out in front of me at a junction and wrote it off. It’s the first car I’ve not got bored with and enjoyed (almost) every journey in.
Happily, I managed to get a couple of year old m140i with the insurance money, so it wasn’t all bad.

I30N is a great car but get a drive in one if possible before making your decision. They are cracking to drive and make a great noise once you push past about 4000rpm but they are an extremely firm ride and this can be tiresome on the day to day driving or commuting.
When they are being driven as they were intended to be driven, they are as good as anything else in that segment but they are not as refined as it’s rivals as a daily car to live with.
