I would like a MS OS tablet with a proper keyboard. Thus my thought about getting a MS Surface Pro/GO/X/whatever
Could I get some recommendations for models and sellers....

Processing power isn't my priority.
Nor is storage space. All files will be stored in my 2TB Dropbox account

I want it for Word processing, Internet browsing, zero gaming or video manipulation, video playing at 720p is fine
My second priority is size, I really want a tablet+keyboard. It will travel with me in my dispatch/messenger bag.
Good keyboard, from wherever, is important

Very happy with refurbished or re-sold, perhaps even a 2017/2018 model because....

budget is sub £500

virtual lockdown pint in thanks is available (collect only, please wear facecovering, and bring negative PCR test result smile )

Of you don't mine pre-owned, then you can get good deals on Surface Pro and Surface Go at CEX (uk.webuy.com). The Go 2 is only a minor update, so not worth any big price increase.

Surface Go are available from £250.

Older Surface Pro 4s are available from £320 - with a proper i5 and 128GB SSD rather than the cheaper models with a mobile chip and 64GB eMMC storage.

If you're happy to go bare minimum, then £200 gets you the lowest spec Surface Go.

You can even get the keyboards there for £40 vs £100 new.

If you're happy with low-spec, then you can get a brand new, entry-level Surface Go 2 (£399) + Black Keyboard (£99) for under your £500 cap.

Don’t go with the lowest storage capacity surface go. It is a good machine 128gb guise but the 64GB is emmc garbage. The go 2 is pretty good and while you don’t need a powerhouse the 2 is a good improvement over the original which was only just quick enough to give acceptable performance.

This is really useful, thank you.

I'll look at the Surface Pro 4 128GB (i5) first, at £320 plus £40 for the Type Cover it looks like it the leader
