I have had a Samsung Plasma 50’ tv for years. We still Have it. It’s now the spare tv in the snug. We use an Amazon fire stick and it’s faultless. However, when we watch the same film on another Amazon fire stick on our new Samsung QE85Q60T we experience a sound delay. I Have read that this can be caused by the film file being a poor quality. However, as mentioned the same film plays perfectly on our old tv.
Our new one doesn’t do it on every film or program but in probably 50% of them. Some times it’s fixed temporarily by switching off the Soundbar which is also brand new and a Samsung Q70.
This is ridiculous....it’s doing my nut. The TV is 8 weeks old and I can’t stand it any more.
Anyone got any ideas.

There's an option in the settings to change the sound delay...

It can only really be an issue with the Firestick, software maybe...?
Reset the firestick and try again. Is it a particular app on the Firestick? If so try another one.

Common problem with Sky HD and some of their channels too.

Restart usually fixes it.

Swap the firesticks and see if the issue stays with the TV or moves across.
