About a month ago I got a weird urge to stop shaving my face and have ended up with what you see in the pics below.

Came very close to shaving it off about 10 mins ago but couldn't quite bring myself to do it! Just wondering what you lot think (not that i'll do what you say, i'm just curious more than anything :P )

Should I keep it as it is, change it or get rid totally?

I'm 26 and lazy, so quite regularly have beard-ish growth...

Last time I had a proper shave, I got asked how old I was whilst buying beer in tesco's!!!

Shave one half of your face, then post a pic on PH.

Get rid of it.

Total over generalisation but I was always told that anyone with a full set of whiskers is either very religious or has something to hide or both.

Goatees can look alright as can 'designer' beards (you know the ones just shy of strategically shaved designer stubble. One many though they just look wrong.

You were obviously a much happier chap when you were clean shaven.

Look how thoroughly miserable you look with that beard.

Shave it off at once, you're bound to cheer up!

She then said i looked like a king edward potato without it

Definately lose the beard. If I had a beard like that, I would go into newsagents and the staff would see me and get a Guardian out to give me.

Full beards are very lentilist I'm afraid, to me it says 'I don't shave because it unnecessarily uses up water or electricity

But if you like it...

I'm going to counter the mainstream and say keep the beard - if you like it. A short well kept beard adds maturity and gravitas to the younger man IMO.

Once you're my age you'll want to shave it off because it adds maturity and gravitas to the older man.

I have had a goatee for years - and I like it.

Mind you, I'm starting to lose it on top so it is a type of compensation.

The missus has never complained, in fact she likes it.

Definately get rid. I'm with Jeremy Clarkson on weirdy beardies. They are not to be trusted. And most bearded people vote Labour. And most people with B.O. also have beards. And people will think you are a geography teacher.
