E46 Auto - queue procedure?
Discussion
Hi all,
I've just been wondering about this. I have a 330ci Auto, and when you're queuing, in a drive thru or traffic jam, should you keep putting the box back into Neutral or Park, or just sit with your foot on the brake?
On newer BMW's you have the auto hold button, and Merc's have the double brake press, but nothing of the sort here...
What's the best practice?

Not foot on brake; best way to create pad deposits on your discs etc...I've just been wondering about this. I have a 330ci Auto, and when you're queuing, in a drive thru or traffic jam, should you keep putting the box back into Neutral or Park, or just sit with your foot on the brake?

Either into park, or handbrake on (as long as it works properly) or into N and handbrake on etc...
