Base 981 2.7 Standard suspension for track questions
Discussion
I have a base 981 cayman 2.7L with standard suspension that I bought never thinking I was going to take it on the track but since have developed a liking for it!
I’ve been searching around and it seems most people have PASM or x73. Can’t seem to find any info on the standard suspension.
I’m getting 18s put on the car and am going to get the alignment done. Is anyone running a 981 on the track or has any insight into the camber/caster/toe I need? I have another car, so am thinking 70% track usage and 30% road usage.
Is this a job that needs to be done by a Porsche specialist or will a decent mechanic be able to do this?
Any tips appreciated!
