Can anybody advise please? I have an 03 tuscan S6 and it is time for a full tyre change. Toyo's are currently fitted from when the car was new,but Toyo no longer make the tyres to fit. Has anybody got any suggestions on another brand? Many thanks

Goodyear F1s. Great tyres.

Just ordered a set of 4 Goodyear Eagle F1's, 255/40 back and and 235/40 front and they handle awesome. As well as looking the part. Also a little more comfortable with the 40 profile. Only paid £500 for them although i did need to get them fitted then. Ordered them off a guy on the internet. Most places would try charging you £160-180 each for the backs so i thought that was quite good. Can get you the guys number if you like.

They can feel a bit strange/scary when new.

I personally like Toyos. The trick is in the profile and suspension set up. Good tyres alone dont sort out handling. IMHO I would go for a 40 profile as opposed to a 30 or 35. "less bling but more cling" I've never used F1's so I couldn't comment on the effectiveness. A good set of 40 profiles with Nitrons and lazer alignment =

Good Luck.

I had continentals fitted to mine , there really good in the wet but think there quite a hard compound so not as 'sticky'in the dry, will go to f1's like on my dads cerbera when they eventually were out.

Had a new set of F1s fitted at the beginning of the month and as was said below a bit wobbly ealy on, however 500 miles on they grip like a grippy thing.

I went for 40 profile and a track at TVR Power. It has transformed the car and I feel much more confident in it.

Just to add to my previous input, I also went with 40 profiles on the F1s
