So, I currently drive a BMW M140i, I absolutely love it, but have decided I need to get something a bit cheaper and fuel-efficient.

My budget is £23000 max, and I do around 15,000 miles a year on a mix of country roads and motorways.

I would ideally like something that is still a bit interesting to look at, and it needs to be fast enough to comfortably overtake, etc. I don't think I would want anything under 2 litres.
It needs to have 4 doors, and have a decent size boot.
It needs to be reliable. I can't risk breaking down as my car is essential to my work.
It needs to be ULEZ compliant. I believe this means petrol newer than 2005 and diesel newer than 2015.
It needs to have decent MPG, my M140i currently does 23mpg wobble

It needs to have some decent tech. I like having gadgets and being able to remotely heat my car from my phone in the winter would be a plus!!!

Does anyone have any ideas of what cars I should be looking at because I'm seriously clueless!!

How aboutt an Alfa Romeo Giulia? Available with both petrol and diesel engines depending on your preference, a very nice car overall.
