Just had one.... Mmmmmm....... What's your favourite two ingredient simple snack thing? Oh, English mustard works well too smile

Used to binge on peanut butter and strawberry jam sandwiches after a pub sesh.... but that's four ingredients (bread, butter, jam, and PB)....... Crushed crisps and ketchup in a white bread sandwich was another favourite.........

a jar of peanut butter and a jar of marmalade side by side, peanut butter on the spoon first, topped with marmalade. Delicious.

The pork pie really should be paired with a strong English mustard IMO. It also works for a scotch egg.

Scotch egg goes better with brown sauce

Also I like eating slices of extra mature cheddar with rasins.

Cheese on toast.
Or Toasted cheese if you’re Scottish.
Worcester Sauce if you’re cheating and not counting seasoning as an ingredient.

A decent porkpie shouldn't need anything, but I used to revive a crap one with Bicks Mild chilli relish (now NLA).

I think the general rule is if the meat is grey put it in the bin as it really should be pink.

Place I shoot at elevenses are always

Wedge of Pork Pie with Mustard
Slice of fruitcake with slice of Stilton on top
(Washed down with hot consommé)

1st time I was dubious & accepted to be polite but they are absolutely cracking combinations

My weird one is “Broccoli & sweet chilli sauce”
Couple of minutes in the micro & then dip the slightly soft broccoli in the sticky sauce
