No thread yet?

One of my guiltiest of televisual pleasures.

Anyone see the nostalgia / preview show this week? I must admit... the first show was terrible in comparison to where it is now. Ant and Dec doing a trial was excellent as well hehe

Thoughts on this year's contestants?

Mo Farah will be interesting considering his alledged firey personality.

Couple of people I haven't heard of of course.

Finally the Welsh twist... no (native) creepy crawlies but I'm sure plenty will be dispatched during trials. I think the cold / rain will be a significant issue compared to the usual Oz show.

Looking forward to it. Sundays review type show was entertaining and got me in the mood. Glad Ant and Dec did the challenges, they did a good job and we're great sports about it, not that they really had a choice.

Highly unlikely we'll see scantily clad female celebrities taking a shower. That is unless they've restored Rhyl sun centre as well...

The Australian version is usually filmed in Africa, which means this year it is in Australia and they have to worry about the poisonous things!

2 TV choppers from near the castle have just landed somewhere around Jodrell Bank in Cheshire (came over my house)

Black with gold stripe on it. G-TVGB and G-CMRA. They landed at Colshaw Hall (a wedding venue near Chelford by looks of it)

Watched them set off - one from Deganwy which makes me think they could be staying in Bodysgallen Hall (surrounded by woods so used a nearby field perhaps) and the other wasn't far away from the Castle and they flew in parallel with each other off that way.
Eurocopters iirc

I think I watched most of the first season, I've seen snippets of others. As far as I can tell it is a parade of washed-up has beens or third rate wannabees eating slugs and kangaroo cocks whilst partially naked.

About five choppers have been seen flying in single file in the area earlier this week. They've also apparently been doing some filming in Penmon on Anglesey.

I heard Ant and Dec plus entourage staying at Saughton Hall and using Michael Owen's helipad and the slebs plus families at Bodysgallen. smile

IACGMOOH - 2020 Welsh Edition. I'm such a muppet I thought IACGMOOH was a welsh word. Wasn't until I read the thread I worked it out.

It reminded me of the road sign that was put up in welsh. The english translation was "I'm away from my desk please leave a message". It was up for months before anybody sussed it hehe

I don't think it was up for long - as it says here the Welsh speakers picked it up straight away but yes there's been a few like that and also the classic "Ambulance you 'tard" thread lol

Interesting bunch this year including Mo Farah Vernon Kay and Victoria Derbyshire and a load of others including a Radio 1 DJ i've never heard ofbiggrin
Starts tonight ITV 9pm
I've had a fiver on Vernon Kay at 15/2 4th favourite, he's from Bolton like Paddy Maguiness and my 10 stone Rottwieller 'puppy'.
Next year i think it will be between Jeremy Corbyn and Dominic Cummingsbiggrin
