Parking in Wolverhampton

Does anybody have any recommendations for secure bike parking in Wolverhampton near the university please? Parking the car isn't a problem but I'd like to start taking the bike. My bike isn't exactly a theft magnet but I'd like to keep it out of sight of opportunists if possible. Thanks!

There isn't any that I'm aware of Rob. You've got the civic multi story which has the bike bay near the attendant cabin if I remember correctly but that doesn't mean much.

Cheers Tom, good to hear from you - hope you're well! My main experience of parking in Wolverhampton is getting my car locked in a multi storey car park after a New Order gig. I'll have a look at the Civic multi storey when I'm in this afternoon.

They may have moved it but it used to be just before the exit opposite the civic hall.

There's some motorcycle hoops under a cover next to the MX building behind Asda. (Molineux Street.) Not sure if there is CCTV, though. I'm asking SWMBO - who works in that building, when she's not WFH...

Thanks Pothole, I think that’s on the other campus and I’m in the city centre one. I could be wrong though, I’m still a noob.

Tom, yeah I’m doing your old commute in reverse but I’m going to use the car when the weather’s crappy, I’m not as hardy as you!

I had a wander around the car park at the civic centre, they’ve got a decent sized bike area so I’ll give that a try. Don’t know if there’s a charge for bikes yet.

It's about 200m from the football ground. Apparently there is a CCTV camera close by but it's not always pointed at the hoops. The city council website is crap as far as motorcycle parking is concerned with no information at all.
