Looks like an ICI Paint code but the PH list doesn't show it and Google no help

It may be Mercedes Smoke Silver but cannot confirm.
It's silver that looks gold in certain lights (MOT testers have called it Gold or Beige!)

Car might get a full respray anyway but would like to work out the colour in advance. Would do a colour change but too much hassle doing door shuts etc.and the roof is brown.

Thanks for any guidance, one more question for today, replace windscreen before or after respray? (It currently has a plastic trim over the joint, I' m thinking to do away with that and just show the glass against the screen surround with a nicely tooled black stick stuff between.

I had similar issues, the colour codes are now 30+ years old, so you need to find a friendly body shop who's been in the business since the '80's and kept their old catalogues.

Same issue with my SEAC. No one knows what the paint colour actually is. The paint code just doesn't register on any data base.

Top man Adam.
It's not on the sticky at the top of the page but that thread shows 0444 with a B afterwards for some reason as Champagne Gold

Had a bit of a mad idea this afternoon. Has anyone ever done a two tone Wedge?

I'll get me coat....

Would love to but don't think I've got the bottle to do it.
Wife would murder me too probably.

With a street car wedge, I don't think 2 tone would work very well although you would have some good body lines to work with. But it's a small car and the top (hood?) would be a 3rd color. My 2 cents/pence.
