Energy Brokers...

These people are the bane of my life. I must get 2 calls a day from some energy broker wanting to know who deals with our energy contracts. I have made the mistake of using a broker twice - once intentionally and once when I was deceived into believing he worked for the electricity company. In both cases it was a total fk-up and I will never deal with a broker again.

And the ability of the people employed seems to be really low - I dont understand how these companies exist nor how they make any money. It must be a god-awful job.

I think ofgem did open an investigation into the industry a bit ago.

No idea what happened, if anything, but you can always contact ofgem if you really want to complain.

I feel your pain. They are annoying beyond belief.

I don't suffer from this... However I do suffer from a lot of washing machine/dryer warranty calls... If anything goes wrong with either of them, I'll just buy another, don't fancy taking out a warranty worth more than the cost of a brand new one!
