Low cost Investment fund for suplus cash held within SIPP
Discussion
Any advice would be really appreciated,. I would describe myself on the scale of risk as an 8 ( the scale, 1 being most cautious and 10 being Adventurous)
I am looking at this over a term of 10 years. I feel that the paid advice i have taken in the past steered me towards funds that benefited the advisor.
I believe that the SIPP gives me the flexibility to choose my own fund. I feel the sensible thing to do is aim for a fund with low running costs.
The figure i had in mind to invest was £50K ,

I'd second the VWRL suggestion as a good default choice especially if you're looking as a low cost option.
What do you currently have money invested in though? It's useful to look at investments holistically rather than in silos, so they complement each other rather than ending up either as eggs all in one basket, or expensively (i.e. high fees) owning such a diverse portfolio it might as well all be in a cheap broad index tracker.
