I have an Arai Quantum-F helmet with a breath deflector that has finally split along the central ridge. I see that TheVisorShop.com sells breath deflectors but I notice that they're racing ones (they look way chunkier than the discrete one I currently have).

Should I go with the racing version or does anyone know of another supplier that will allow me to replace like with like?

Any Arai dealer can sort it for you.

Or take the lid to a BSB round and have the boys in the Arai service truck in the paddock give it a servicing. It's free and they inspect any stone chips, lubricate the mechanisms, clear and lube the vents and chech and adjust your cheek pads to maintain a good even fit.

Thoroughly recommended.

But get there early to avoid the queue, or go on Friday qualifying.

i had one of those "Arai race Breath defelctors" only used it for one journey an binned it

get yourself a respro foggy mask, I can seal my visor in Pi$$ing rain outside work and not open it again till i get home, even sitting at traffic lights breathing out on purpose to try an mist up the visor....its superb.....but its a pain in hot wheater makes your face a bit sweaty, but also hugely cuts down wind in your eyes and as a contact lense wearer that the best thing about it

.....god im boring myself talking about it :!
