Fired Earth Suppliers/Glass Shower Enclosures

This is the longest of long shots: does anyone know who makes and supplies Fired Earth's bespoke shower enclosures? I've had a belly-full of their poor service, deaf ears and increasingly outrageous quotes so I want to see if I can source something direct.

Alternatively, what about any decent glass company with experience of bespoke shower enclosures?

Fired Earth are a truly ridiculous company.

The missus forced me to visit a couple of years ago when we were having the downstairs shower room done.

I entered the shop, to be confronted by a trendy young hippy girl who seemed not entirely interested in our presence.

The missus: These look nice (pointing to some small rough stone looking tiles.

Me (to shop assistant): Ok, we need about eight square metres. How much is that?

Shop assistant: Let me see, they are six pounds per tile, so that makes the total five thousand three hundred.

Me (to wife): I think it is time we left.

I am not paying £650 per square metre for some tiles made by some "artist" who has never been heard of, but seems to imagine their tiles are the next best thing to an original sketch by Da Vinci.

But no, we had to remain in the shop for another five minutes while my other half showed me yet more tiles that cost truly preposterous amounts of money, while the cretinous assitant hovered nearby, informing us there was a four to six week delivery time on most stock.

On the way home we went to Cargo Tiles where the nice and knowledgeable man sold us some beautiful stone tiles for a fraction of the price of Fired Earth, and had them in stock so delivered next day.

Fired Earth is a tile shop staffed by idiots, who sell to tossers. IMHO of course.

Actually I think I did say something like "You are kidding , right?" Just before I ridiculed the entire shop and their product range and left with a petulant theatrical toss of my head.

Had to laugh at these responses, especially with reference to the Cobham branch (yes, they are the ones and yes, I must be a mug). Anyway, everything is fitted apart from the shower screen. It needs to be a bespoke item because the room width is slightly greater than the length of the tray.

I've hunted down some links and will follow them up but it would be nice to get an endorsement.

Moving to a new house in Fulham within a month, wetroom is going to be 1st priority!.

Had a good look around bathstore's stuff. also W1 bathrooms where it seems it's quite possible to spend upwards of £40k on a shower room
