I currently own a logitech M325 that I've had for about 4-5 years. served me well, however left click is being tempermental and despite me opening it up to clean it that didn't change.

Some brief searching suggests everyone seems to praise the logitech G305 and 'MX anywhere' mice... But it annoys me how everyone seems to go to these 2 mice. Are there no others worth considering? These also have a battery life of up to 300hours, very different to the 'up to 18 months' of my M325.

what I like about my current mouse (link to it here
- has done its job perfectly fine up to now
- battery life is amazing, I use cheap AAs from the pound shop and I only really have to change them out once a year.

Requirements

Price: £30. (£40 at the very max for something that's really wworth extra)
wireless type: No preference, if it matters please say.
Usage: General day to day stuff. Some gaming (C&C, quake). No really serious gaming. Will be using the mouse on my desk (bamboo) and on my bed, same as my current mouse.

Daft question. If the MX325 does absolutely everything you want and seems to have advantages over the others you've looked at, why not just get another one for £20?

Personally I'm a big fan of ergonomic mice and specifically the MX Master series based on comfort alone, but they're £££ more than you're looking to spend.

I have one of these:

It is very good. I don't use it for gaming.
