Anyone know where the cheapest place to get a set of two is?

Breeze block on motorway meant the Cerb had to go home on a flatbed last night.

Julian, Try Penninsula, they usually have most bits in stock, and seem to be 'par for the course', price wise.... www.rhactiv.co.uk/ptvr/pages_tvr/parts.asp

That’s really bad luck

You could try one of the breakers, the TVR ones. I am sure they could do you a good deal. It may be worth your while getting them refurbished and checked for cracks; you would need to do your sums to see if it works out cheaper.

I can recommend Spit and Polish in Kent, they are very very good.

No that wasn't bad luck. The fact that the M5 blew out a rear tyre an hour before to make me use the TVR was bad luck

Now I have two cars damaged. Yesterday wasn't a good day.

Pennisula 205+vat per wheel.

not too keen on second hand. In my travels I often investigate vibration at the wheel. A lot of this comes from slight bending of the rims such that they arn't round anymore. Whether this is occasional kerb damage of some sort or whether the wheels actually have a problem staying round I don't know.

But not keen on second hand for that very reason.

Just an update, don't want to fall foul of Ted's name and shame policy, just to say I couldn't believe the differnce in price and ordering/delivery times when you call a number of different TVR dealers with a request for two front anthracite spiders.

Bear in mind none had them in stock and were ordering from factory.

ranged from £480inc vat and two day delivery to £576 and nearly a month delivery time!

Just goes to show not all are the same, and its worth ringing round.
