The PH affinity for pie started because many people laboured under the curious assumption that I sit here and scoff pies all day. Not true at all. Haven't had a pie for ages. Honest. I can cope without pie. For ages. Really. It's just coincidence I have Melton Mowbray number plates, really.

Pastry, aspic, pork, spices, fat & Walkers is all I have to say to that. Ted when did you last go to Tesco - They now stock Henry Walkers finest 1lb pies !

Bob, Chim & a Walkers pie

PS Will be having a deep freid pie for Boxing day morning breakfast - Mmmmmmmm

CarZee - you never cease to amaze me - the sheer volume of useless information which you hold in your head is positively mindnumbing

Top job!

Yes yes yes, but what TYPE of pie??

Is there an official PHers pie flavour??

Maybe we should take a vote....

Its funny how fact becomes myth and myth becomes legend.

Weeble & bob was discovered by a regular PHer and brought into the fold and adopted because we already had the pie references well established.

Its Ted's fault really. Before the first PistonHeads meets he cultivated the misappehension that he was a fat bloater who scoffed pies all day and went through 4 flaky-pastry-encrusted keyboards a month.
I think many people were quite shocked when they actually met him
"Hi. I'm Ted."
"But....but...but, you're not fat! Does not compute! Information conflict! Self destruct imminent"

My pie was beef (steak) and ale... mmm..

I THINK the official pie has already been discussed at some point... might be in the BTaP thread... can't remember what it was though!

CarZee?

What are you asking CarZee for? He's only been a member for 9 months! You've been a member for 17, Podie, so how come you don't know?

Yes yes, but he changed his Nickname a few months back and clearly has no recall of life before Podie..

And working for Ford, he'd be familiar with the term "Total Recall"

Hadn't realised that CZ was only a "newbie", but in terms of "hours online" he's probably clocked up more (sh*t, just done myself out of that BTaP award! ).

Besides... I was at Uni for part of those 17 months, so I was a layabout good for nothing student who was pissed 95% of the time.

Anyway... CZ also has that vot-a-majig!

:ahem: er... "no comment"

Got some good stories to tell, but will save them for BTaP!
