This story sounds a bit dodgy. Why would they be testing a new version when we haven't seen what the C6 Z06 can do yet? The car in the pic just looks like a blue Z06 to me. Would be very interesting if it were true though.

The C6 Z06 will be sold in the USA from 1st Sept and will be available here in the UK from November.

Stratstones in London already have 2 x £10,000 deposits for C6 Z06's and they have an order for 6 cars in with GM at the moment.

Chevy ARE going to make the car code named "Blue Devil". It's a pride thing here in the US that has not been as hot since the late 60's muscle car wars. Basically, Chevy do not want Dodge walking away with the "we have more horsepower than you" bragging rights.

As the article says - a blown (forced induction) Z06 is where they will probably start.
